Operations Assistant

remote work; 15-20 HOurs/week

ART International is looking for a part-time Operations Assistant to support our global course production process, provide stellar customer service to our ART community around the world, and assist the ART Leadership Team with daily support and special projects. With responsibilities ranging from routine administrative tasks to bigger,more in-depth research projects, this position is a ideal for someone passionate about administration, organization and innovation, and with a (very!) keen eye for detail.

Sample Responsibilities: Organizing and prepping volunteer teams for our courses in the US and globally, helping to mange course production tasks and timelines, logging registrations and other important data, managing project/task lists and following up on important deadlines, developing and implementing new systems, creating invoices and course certificates, and replying to customer inquiries. You will be working with multiple platforms such as Active Campaign, WordPress, Google Docs/Sheets, Survey Monkey, etc. as well as our social media channels. This position will also support our sister non-profit organization Authentic Relating International (ARI), helping to bring authentic relating to prisons in Colorado.

Ideal Candidate: You are self-starting, proactive, efficient and thrive working independently. You have experience in administration and customer service (required), and ideally, you have additional experience with event production, project management, online programs/databases, and working with and managing small teams. You enjoy the start-up environment, where your role as well as the company is always evolving and changing, and your creative problem-solving is key for the success of the company. 

Position Logistics: Requires 15-20 hours per week; schedule will vary week-to-week, and daily work and regular communication is required. There are many time-sensitive needs and daily tasks, so this position would work well for someone who is at their computer often. This is an independent contractor position with the freedom to work from anywhere in the world, as long as you manage your responsibilities and time zones accordingly. As with many start-ups, this position has great potential to grow as ART continues to evolve – the more value you offer, the more opportunity there will be!
